Is customer service becoming a lost art? In their race to reach the top-position, businesses often forget this vital ingredient of success. Yet, this critical requisite has been the focus of WyCo Services, a pioneer in the material handling industry that has kept the flag of customer-satisfaction flying high for over five decades.
"WyCo excels amongst its competitors because we build long lasting relationships with our clients and take pride in servicing them," states Corey Bartolo, President of WyCo Services. The company's solutions encompass the entire spectrum of material handling with state-of-the-art installation, maintenance, repair, and problem-solving services for a host of sectors. (Distribution, Airport, Manufacturing & Food & Beverage) WyCo provides advanced material handling solutions for fast-moving cargo and conveyor systems along with DHS and TSA security-approved equipment. Their systems representing over 22 manufacturers, span over jet bridges, airport baggage, air cargo, express parcel, distribution, food, among others.
The WyCo team comprises seasoned professionals who possess a comprehensive understanding of all conveyor types, such as, baggage, cargo, gravity-fed conveyors (wheel and roller driven), and automated devices (shaft, chain, and belt-driven). With over 15 years of experience, the team members were involved in installing the first RFID in-line baggage system at the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"WyCo offers turnkey solutions. We not only sell the equipment but install it and offer repair and preventative maintenance contracts and undertake any type of emergency repairs that might happen during the lifecycle of the equipment," states Jake Allen, National Sales Manager at WyCo.
The company is the one point of contact for clients to fix any problems or resolutions and strives to provide simple and innovative solutions with the best possible performance within clients' financial budget and the least amount of downtime.
WyCo's customers range from mom-and-pop shops to large global organizations. Recently, one of their global clients in the material handling sector was facing frequent breakdowns in a section of conveyor used heavily throughout its sites. The client sought the assistance of WyCo. Instead of rectifying the equipment, which was repeatedly failing, WyCo discussed the problem with the client and understood the desired results from the equipment. The team then engineered a more efficient system to perfection, which was installed in three locations in the US. Within a matter of days, they were approached to design the same machinery across all the client's global locations.
Attached to its name, WyCo has a plethora of such success stories, each more impressive than the other. In yet another instance, a manufacturer of heavy-gel mattresses for homes was using an obsolete method to separate its raw materials, which was detrimentally impacting their productivity. WyCo analyzed their requirements, brainstormed an innovative idea, customized, and re-engineered a food-grade machine, which was originally used to cut loaves of bread to now cutting the thick and heavy gel for the mattresses. The satisfied clients are looking forward to increasing their production by 500 times once the complete set-up is in place.
Riding on the wave of success, WyCo is implementing new technology trends, for example, going digital instead of using pen and paper to record invoices. "Everything we do is very mobile. There are a number of our apps' protocols that we use on our technicians' smart devices, which allows us to have a quick response to our client queries," remarks Wyatt Allen, VP of Operations at Wyco.
Keeping customer satisfaction at the core of its functioning, the WyCo team ensures that it implements an idea not just because the thought seems innovative, but because it is a feasible and long-lasting solution. It goes without saying that WyCo's imaginative and empathetic approach toward customers and its array of quality services has provided WyCo with a loyal customer base that keeps growing.
